Thank you Libby. Yoga is a GREAT benefit especially when it is not used strictly for exercise. I completely agree with both 1 & 2 as I found those in that brief period of time - EXCEPT the feeling part of the bigger collective. I feel that part of the trauma informed instruction, needs to deal with weight bias informed. My opinion only. The only instructor, other than Anna that I have had experience with that sensitivity is Ashley Turner. (online and through videos on GAIA) She does a whole segment in her pysche-soul-yoga training based on the trauma of weight. Your #1 is how I have spent my years of practicing turning away from the chaos and going within without meditation and/or yoga. Sometimes meditation and even body scanning can be a trigger to trauma.
