I read these types of articles and it completely blows my mind. I have lived in California all my life so its difficult to comprehend why other states even have such laws. Also working in healthcare, I can say the states divided opinions affect the basic protections of even HIPAA protections. California holds some of the highest protections and a lot of insurance company's home base are in states with lesser protection so people get denied because the company adjusters don't get the personal information they want. It's downright sad. Our health and our bodies are personal. That's called boundaries. Thank you for the work and the truth you poured into this!
