I have lived in the north bay area all my life. We, too, have seen fires, floods, and earthquakes and communities pull together for each other. The one thing I see differently is there is not a northern or southern division. Our local firefighters pulled together teams who headed down south BEFORE the winds and fire, our animal shelters are emptying southern ones so they can house displaced/homeless animals. Fundraisers and necessity drives are happening all around me to be sent down south.
I agree if the blaming not helping as people grieve their losses they need support and compassion! I will keep your family in my thoughts. I love California too!
